Georges de Bourguignon is co-founder and CEO of Asset. He leads all Asset´s efforts in corporate finance and asset management. He is a board member of Asset Administradora General de Fondos S. A., a subsidiary of Asset. Before co-founding Asset, Georges worked as Managing Director at Citibank S.A. in Chile.
Georges has been professor of economics at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile; director of Intergénesis Fund Management; founder and president of the Harvard Club in Chile; and member of the Harvard Business School Alumni Association Board, which acts as advisor to the school’s dean. Georges is currently member of the boards of Sociedad Punta Lobos, Chilean subsidiary of K+S Group, Embotelladora Andina, SQM and TANICA.
Georges holds a degree in Economics from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
Jean Paul de Bourguignon is co-founder and business director at Asset since 1996. He is a board member of Asset Administradora General de Fondos S. A. and of Foresta Administradora de Fondos de Inversión S.A., both subsidiaries of Asset. He has been involved in advisories related to mergers and acquisitions in the mining and industrial sectors. Between 1984 and 1987, Jean Paul worked for Gillette Company in Boston, Massachusetts. From 1987 until 1990, he worked for Ladeco Airlines, as vice president of the Cargo Division. In 1991 Jean Paul founded Icarus Aviation, an independent company dedicated to aircraft brokerage in the Latin-American region. This company was leader in complementing aircraft cargo fleets between 1991 and 1995.
Jean Paul holds a degree in Economics from the Pontificia Universidad Católica.
Gonzalo Fanjul is director of the corporate finance team. He is a board member of Asset Administradora General de Fondos S. A., a subsidiary of Asset. Gonzalo joined Asset in 2004 as project manager and since then he has been involved in transactions related to structured financing and M&A for clients in the mining, power generation and transmission, industrial and forestry sectors. Before joining Asset, Gonzalo worked as chief of financial planning and research at Celulosa Arauco y Constitución S.A.
Gonzalo is professor of Valuation at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile Business School. He holds a degree in Business Administration from the same university and an MBA from the Stern School of Business, New York University.
César Barros is director of Asset Administradora General de Fondos S.A.
Cesar currently is president of the Chilean Stock Exchange of Products, adviser of the SNA, board adviser of Inversiones Turma S.A., vice president of Caja de Compensación La Araucana, and director of Empresas Sutil, Agrícola Mollendo S.A. and Salmones Multiexport.
Cesar was a professor of international finance, monetary theory, international trade, and resource allocation at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile; president of Empresas La Polar S.A. and Radio Agricultura; and director of Blanco y Negro S.A., Empresas IANSA, and Sociedad Anónima Viña Santa Rita. Additionally, Cesar was president of the Salmon industry Association of Chile AG (Salmonchile AG), president of the Salmon Technological Institute(INTESAL), adviser and member of the Executive Committee of the Sofofa, and director of the SNA director and FEDEFRUTA.
César has a degree in agronomy with a diploma in agrarian economy of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and has a PhD in economics from Stanford University.
Matías de Bourguignon is a board member of Asset Administradora General de Fondos S.A. Matias started his career as an Analyst and later as an Associate Portafolio Manager in “Inversiones Arizona”, one of the biggest family offices in Chile. During this time, he successfully participated in the portfolio construction and establishment of the investment strategy with a mandate to invest over USD$ 200M in global equities.
During this period, Matias got involve in the film industry by co-founding the emerging production company Agosto Cine. Matías was an executive producer in the short film “The Summer of the Electric Lion”, winner of the first place in 2018 Cannes Film Festival. After Agosto Cine and Arizona, Matías joined the independent film production company Jirafa as CFO and executive producer, where he was co-producer in the film “Divine Love”, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival.
Matias holds a degree in Business and Economics from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and is an MBA candidate at Columbia Business School.
Felipe Swett is CEO at Asset Administradora General de Fondos. Felipe worked in Asset Chile between 2003 and 2011, and as a member of the corporate finance team was involved in different financings, merges and acquisitions in the mining, industrial and forestry industries in Chile, Perú y Brazil.
Felipe leads the asset management team of Asset since 2011, and has participated in the structuring and placement of all its funds, including the firs public forestry investment funds of Latin America, the first Chilean fund dedicated to invest in residential real estate assets for rent (multifamily), and funds for foreign investors in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
Felipe holds a degree in Industrial Civil Engineering with a Diploma in Environmental engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and holds a MBA degree from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern, United States. He is currenty a professor of ESE Business School.
Alexander Sideman is the Development Manager of the ASSET Rentas Residenciales Investment Fund. Alexander joined the firm in 2020 and leads the development of new assets to be incorporated into the first Chilean residential REIT. Before joining asset, Alexander was a Special Situations Associate Director at Moneda Asset Management, where he managed investments in distressed and defaulted fixed income instruments. Prior to Moneda, Alexander was part of the corporate finance group at Ameris Capital, where he advised Chilean and foreign firms on M&A and project finance topics, as well as managing private equity investments in tech businesses and real estate development.
Alexander holds an MBA degree, with honors, from Columbia Business School. Alexander also holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Chile, where he graduated with maximum honors.
Rodrigo Herrera is Finance and Administration Deputy Manager of ASSET AGF. Rodrigo joined ASSET in 2017 as analyst of the Residential Rent Investment Fund and member of the Asset Management team where he was involved in the management of the Fund, the analysis of investment opportunities, covering the Chilean real estate industry and debt structuring.
Since 2019, Rodrigo has been involved in the management of Asset Crescent Investment Fund, Asset Phoenix Infraestructure Investment Fund and Asset Atlas Renewable Energy Investment Fund, and is also responsible of the Investor Relations of the all the public funds administrated by ASSET AGF.
Rodrigo holds a degree in Business Administration from the Universidad de los Andes.
Sebastian Merino is Investment Deputy Manager of the Residential Rent Investment Fund and member of the Asset Management team.
Sebastian joined ASSET Chile in 2018 and since then he has been involved in the analysis of new investment opportunities and covering the Chilean real estate industry. Before joining ASSET, Sebastian worked in EligeEducar ,an NGO related to education; in the administration and finance area.
Sebastian holds a degree in Business Administration from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
Nicolás Cuesta is Fund Manager at ASSET and member of the Asset Management team.
Nicolás joined ASSET Chile in 2018, and since then he has been involved indifferent investment funds, in the mining, energy and infrastructure sectors. In addition, Nicolas actively participates in the evaluation and structuring of new investment opportunities.
Nicolás holds a degree in Business Administration from Universidad de Chile.
Fernando Fantini is Analyst of the Asset Residential Rent Investment Fund, and member of the Asset Management team.
Fernando joined ASSET in early 2019, and since then he has been involved in the analysis of new investment opportunities, and in the coverage of Chile’s Real Estate market.
Fernando has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
Ignacio Pérez is Analys at ASSET and member of the Finance and Administration team.
Ignacio joined ASSET in 2019 and since then he has been involved covering the real estate sector, debt structuring and the administration of the Residential Rent Investment Fund, Asset Crescent Investment Fund, Asset Phoenix Infraestructure Investment Fund and Asset Atlas Renewable Energy Investment Fund. Before joining ASSET, Ignacio worked for two years as an analyst in the brokerage house at JP Morgan & Chase.

Cristian Barahona is Operations Deputy Manager of ASSET Administradora General de Fondos S.A.
Cristián has been part of the ASSET team since 2011, entering as a General Accountant of ASSET Chile, being in charge of the generation and presentation of the Financial Statements of ASSET Chile and its related companies. It has also
led the ASSET AGF operations team since its creation, leading the
Treasury, accounting and operations areas of the Company and the funds managed by it.
Prior to joining Asset, he worked in different consultants in the accounting and tax area.
Cristian is an Auditor Accountant at the Universidad Católica Silva Henríquez with a Diploma in Tax Management.
Marcela Carrasco is Compliance Officer of ASSET Administradora General de Fondos S.A.
Marcela joined ASSET in June 2017, performing as Compliance and Internal Control Officer of the Company, as well as Compliance Officer of ASSET AGF and ASSET S.A.
Prior to joining ASSET, Marcela worked for 8 years at BICE Inversiones Administradora General de Fondos, and 10 years at Deloitte. His work experience has allowed him to specialize in the design and implementation of integral risk management models, corporate governance and auditing.
Marcela is a Certified Public Accountant - Auditor Accountant, from the Universidad Católica Raúl Silva Henríquez.
Rodrigo Poblete is an Operations Executive of ASSET Administradora General de Fondos S.A.
Rodrigo joined ASSET AGF in 2017 and since then has participated in the operations team in the areas of treasury, accounting and operations of the funds and subsidiaries managed by it.
Before joining ASSET, Rodrigo worked for three years at EY Audit in the area of financial audit in the mining sector.
Rodrigo Poblete is a Public Accountant and Auditor of Universidad Santo Tomás.
María Teresa Montecinos is a Risk Executive in Asset General Fund Manager S.A.
María Teresa joined ASSET AGF in 2018 and performs functions related to the prevention and mitigation of risks in the different processes and cycles, both of the administrator and of the funds managed. Prior to joining ASSET, María Teresa worked for close to 6 years at Banco Itaú Corpbanca, specifically in the area of Operational Risk and Compliance.
María Teresa is a General Accountant of the Duoc, a Criminalistic Scientist of the UTEM, and is currently finishing her studies as an Auditor Accountant at the UNAB.
