Georges de Bourguignon Covarrubias is the Investment and New Business Manager at Asset Administradora General de Fondos. Georges joined the company in 2021 and leads the analysis and structuring of new investment opportunities. Previously, he served as Vice President of Corporate Development at Quiñenco S.A., where he managed investments in both public and private markets worldwide across industries including industrial, shipping, consumer goods, and financial services.
Georges has advised several departments of the Chilean Government on the development of public-private investment projects, including the Ministry of Public Works, the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, and the Chilean Economic Development Agency (CORFO), working on projects in sectors such as infrastructure, mining, and public utilities.
Georges holds a degree in Economics from the School of Economics at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile and holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Master of Public Policy (MPP) from Columbia University.
